UpstateNew York provides world class trophy fly fishing for lake run trout and salmon. Including coho and chinook salmon, brown, rainbow and lake trout. New York also provides, excellent inland stream 'match-the-hatch' fishing for wild rainbow, brown and brook trout.

We provide beginner fishing schools and for advanced anglers, we also provide midge and nymph fishing schools. All fishing schools provide classroom and on the water instruction.

Jason has 20 years of fly fishing experience in both Lake Ontario tributaries and inland trout streams. Jason is well known for his exceptional fishing ability, as well as, his ability to pass along this knowledge to both the novice and experienced individual.

As a professional fly tyer, he known for his innovative patterns. Patterns ranging from trolling flies down to size 30 midges. Jason's flies are available at local fly fishing shops. He also lectures on fly tying and finesse fishing for difficult to catch stream trout, Steelhead and lake-run Brown Trout.

Springtime in the great lakes region is Steelhead fishing at its finest. March through mid-May, with peak numbers occuring in April. Fall salmon fishing begins in mid-September with silver fish and less crowds and peaks in mid-to late October for Coho and Chinook Salmon. Fall Brown Trout and Steelhead fishing is the premier fly fishing experience in the Great Lakes. Beginning in early October, with peak fishing in November.
